When Akio and his mother move across the country to live with a mysterious acquaintance of his dead father, it's an adjustment. When they learn that the man's wife is dead and his son hasn't left the house in years, it's a shock. When the son starts letting Akio in on the rest of the family's secrets, things really start to get weird. It's going to be a long winter.
And by now, everyone should be aware of the current disaster in Japan. I was so relieved to hear that my friends in Japan are doing pretty well, but of course thousands of people have not been so lucky, and until the government figures out what's going on with the Fukushima nuclear reactors there's still potential for things to get even worse.
Donations would be wonderful (I've heard conflicting things about which organizations are actually working in Japan at the moment, but the Japanese Red Cross seems good), but even if you don't donate, please stay aware of what's going on over there as the situation unfolds.
Hooray, another new page!
He-he, awkward moment~ Good job on being caught spying, Akio!
Hm, it's a side observation but Mr. Kikugawa looks rather dandy in his western clothing--though he does seem like a rather shady guy. :P
P.S: Ah, I heard about the issues regarding Japan... I've donated money to Japan, as well. It's good that your friends got out safely though.
