When Akio and his mother move across the country to live with a mysterious acquaintance of his dead father, it's an adjustment. When they learn that the man's wife is dead and his son hasn't left the house in years, it's a shock. When the son starts letting Akio in on the rest of the family's secrets, things really start to get weird. It's going to be a long winter.
@ yehram - ...This may be a rather dangerous thing for me to admit, but yeah, Sakura Gari is great. xD When I read it, I was like "Whoa, Yuu Watase does BL? Taishou BL? Am I dreaming???" but then as I read on I was a little like "Hmm...some similarities here..." :I But I'm pretty confident that as things develop, the differences between that story and this one should become evident. (Besides the obvious difference that Sakura Gari is waaaay more awesome. xD;;)
Things will get a bit "mature" (if I'm understanding you correctly), but not to, say, SG-esque levels. (For which all the characters should be eternally grateful. xD) Thanks for reading, it's always great to hear that people are interested in this comic!
I'm glad you're the type of artist who isn't afraid to incorporate wordless panels (much less a page) into a storyline.
Just by the expressions and panel content alone, I can already get a good idea of what's going on.
Heh, poor Akio. Now he can't conveniently ignore the strange encounter! Ha-ha~ *Cackles* I'm curious as to what's that book of his contains...even if it may not be of "grand" importance. It'd stink if it was something as private as journal! ^_^;
